Homes for Sale Etiwan Park
Etiwan Park is a well-established neighborhood in Daniel Island, South Carolina. It is named after a Native American tribe that once inhabited the island. This is one of the more modest neighborhoods in the area. Etiwan Park sits off Sevens Farm Drive which connects to the Mark Clark Expy freeway. Its distinct feature is the seven acre Etiwan Park filled with lots of green spaces. The park is used for picnics, informal sports events, community festivals and concerts.
It features single family detached homes with southern low country style architectural designs. The development of Etiwan Park took place between 1996 and 2000 and all the lots are under a quarter acre in size. It houses the relatively cheaper homes in the Charleston area with listing prices ranging from $300,000 to about $600,000.
This neighborhood is centrally located with close proximity to downtown Commercial Daniel Island. In fact, its major appeal is this convenient situation. Educational facilities such as Daniel Island School, Belle Hall Elementary and Hanahan High School are just minutes away. Moreover, the excellent Bishop England High School is located across the street from Etiwan Park.
This neighborhood is served with plenty of amenities. Grocery stores include the Island Market LLC and the Publix Supermarket. Residents can enjoy fine coffee at Blondies Bagels & Café, Kangaroo Express and the Honey Comb Café in Daniel Island. Daniel Island Grille, Ristorante LIDI and Orlando’s Pizza provide nice dining facilities for the occupants of Etiwan Park.
The area is awash with recreational facilities including the Smythe, Cool Blow and Martin parks. These offer residents hiking, jogging or biking trails throughout the Island’s natural scenery. Etiwan Park is also close to the airport at North Charleston, Isle of Palms beaches and historic Sullivan’s Island.
Furthermore, the residents can engage in fishing, boating, crabbing and kayaking at the public county boat ramp or be members of the Daniel Island club with its many amenities. The area is also home to the exquisite Ralston and Beresford Creek Golf courses designed by Tom Fazio and Rees Jones.
